Taylor Swift was recently seen putting on a loved-up display with her boyfriend Travis Kelce at the US Open final in New York City. The 34-year-old singer and Kansas City Chiefs star Travis have been dating for a full year but was recently hit with claims that the two have been staging a relationship. A supposed document recently leaked and showed they were to end their relationship on 28 September.
Images of the document with the letterhead of a company called Full Scope Public Relations which represents Kelce went viral as the document claimed the singer and the NFL star would break up and then make carefully worded announcements online. However, the claims have been shut down by both Taylor and Travis.
And now, the duo were seen putting the drama behind them as they enjoyed a date night at the US Open final. Taylor looked out of this world in a red-and-white gingham dress with her signature bright red lipstick. She completed the look with gold earrings and black sunglasses.
Meanwhile, Travis went for a more showy look with a Gucci polo shirt, cardigan and matching bucket hat. Body language expert Judi James said the singer’s outfit sent a “strong ‘swoony in love’ message”. She said: ” Taylor is not a girl who does things by halves and her very public, stylized-looking displays with Travis here look like a very emphatic, written-in-BOLD-with-extra- emojis-style message in the wake of last week’s dramas.
“The red gingham sweetheart dress and matching red lipstick send out as strong a ‘swoony in love’ message as her body language here as she stands with Travis’s arms around her waist performing a loved-up, curling smile as she tilts her head back against her man’s chest in a gesture of bliss.
“One hand is thrown up and back to his neck, baring her vulnerable armpit and under arm and even the hand that rests on his arm features a ring with a red ruby heart surrounded by what look like diamonds. Taylor’s love language is loud and clear here and there’s no sign of subtlety as she aims to make her feelings known to all.”
She continued: “The couple stand to check maximum visibility and at one point they are singing and playing full-throttle in case anyone failed to spot them and get the message that they are very on course as a couple. After her swooning-in-love displays Taylor turns in for the romantic kiss, pulling at his cardigan first to get his attention.
The poses and rituals look led by Taylor here, with Travis looking happy but also slightly bemused. He looks keen to take her lead but less assured about creating his own public messaging.”
Judi went on to say Taylor’s kiss was more ‘gentle’ and ‘romantic’ while Travis went for a ‘comedy angle’ when he ‘swerved the romance’ and placed a finger across his top lip.
The expert added: “Even their laughter together looks like an emphatic, exaggerated display here to message the fans that they are happy and having fun together.
And Taylor also manages a ‘two for the price of one’ body language bulletin when she performs a whole ritual of hugs, whispering together and hi-five hand gestures with Brittany to nail any negative rumours about their friendship, too.”
