Travis Kelce, a tight end, celebrated turning 35 over the weekend at his Kelce Car Jam display in Kansas City, prior to the Chiefs’ victory against the Saints on Monday night.
Attendees included quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Ed and Donna Kelce, Travis’ brother Jason Kelce, and many more well-known celebrities.
Notably absent from the occasion was Kelce’s girlfriend, the musician Taylor Swift.
Donna had even more reason to rejoice just a day after “Monday Night Football,” as she was named one of Glamour’s Women of the Year.

During the event, Donna gave an interview where she revealed the real reason Swift missed Travis’ birthday celebration and talked about what it’s been like to watch her son with Swift.
“I think she’s a little busy with some of her concerts coming up,” Kelce said. “You know, she needs to practice and stuff, but she was definitely there for the game.”
Travis was not surprised that Swift did not show up for the Kelce Car Jam. The former Cincinnati Bearcats player disclosed that his girlfriend would not be present but would be at the game in an interview with Page Six conducted during the occasion. It became out that she was.
“She’s not coming,” Kelce informed Page Six. “I am aware that she is arriving for the game,”
Swift returned to GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on Monday night, having missed the previous two Chiefs games, both of which were played away. Her absence from Kansas City’s games in Atlanta and Los Angeles sparked several theories as to why. However, rumors suggest that she missed the Kelce Car Jam for a similar reason, in addition to some security worries in the wake of the August Vienna, Austria, terrorist event.
As her Eras Tour comes to an end, Swift has a few performances left. The tour began in March 2023 and was interrupted for two months after Vienna. Swift is scheduled to perform at Hard Rock Stadium next in Miami, Florida, on October 18. She will make her rounds in a few other USA cities before heading to Canada in November.
