If you’re a Swiftie (or tbh, even if you aren’t), you probably know that Taylor Swift has a milestone birthday riiiiight around the corner. Our pop girlie is turning 35 on December 13—and considering that her boyfriend Travis Kelce skipped her 34th birthday festivities (he had to stay in Kansas City for mandatory Chiefs practice), it sounds like he’s going to REALLY deliver this year.
According to a source for Page Six, Travis wants to make Taylor’s 35th birthday “extra special” and already has some plans in the works. “Travis has only let a few of those closest to him know what he has in store for Taylor because he doesn’t want to ruin any surprises,” the insider added. Um, do tell!

The source also noted that Travis has been scoping out gifts for Tay’s birthday, as well as for Christmas—which he will be celebrating with the star’s family, even though the Chiefs are scheduled to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers on Christmas Day.
The Chiefs also have away game against the Cleveland Browns on December 15…but Travis isn’t letting his game schedule interfere with his other plans.
“Although he’ll be playing on Christmas and has an away game the weekend of Taylor’s birthday, Travis is going to make sure to take time out to celebrate both occasions with her,” the Page Six source revealed.
And no, Travis isn’t bitter that Taylor wasn’t able to make his own 35th birthday celebrations back in October. According to a Page Six source, Tay and her dad, Scott Swift, made up for it by treating Travis and his family (as well as the Patrick and Brittany Mahomes) to a sushi dinner at Noka in Kansas City.
Sadly, it hasn’t yet been revealed how exactly Travis is planning to celebrate Tay’s 35th or (more importantly) what he’s planning to buy her—but IMO, it’s going to be tough to top that opal-and-blue-topaz ring he reportedly got her last year. (For the record: Opal is Travis’s birthstone, while blue topaz is Taylor’s. Cute!)
