Rumors have recently gotten louder about pop icon Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce taking their relationship to the next level. At this point, the fans want to know if wedding bells are on the horizon now that the couple has surpassed the one-year mark of their extremely high-profile relationship.
Supporters will be glad to know that according to a report by Us Weekly, both Swift and Kelce would “love to be engaged.” However, the couple is still trying to find the perfect time to move forward in their romance. As revealed by Us Weekly’s exclusive source, the Swift and Kelce “aren’t rushing it.”
If and when Kelce pops the big question, he will likely need to get the support of the people closest to Swift. This includes her parents, Scott and Andrea Swift, her younger brother, Austin Swift, as well as the “Karma” singer’s inner circle of friends.
The good news for the nine-time Pro Bowl tight end is that everybody appears to be rooting for him.
“There’s no question her friends and family are on board with a proposal,” revealed Us Weekly. “Their parents have become especially close.”
The report went on to point out how Travis Kelce’s mom, Donna Kelce, attended Swift’s “Eras Tour” show in Miami on Oct. 18. Swift’s parents, on the other hand, both went to a Chiefs game with her daughter on Nov. 10.
Moreover, Swift and her family reportedly hosted the Kelce clan in her Nashville home for Thanksgiving, and Swift and her dad joined Donna Kelce at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium for the Chiefs’ game against the Las Vegas Raiders on Black Friday. “They’re very intertwined,” said Us Weekly’s source of Swift and Kelce.
“[It feels] as if they’ve been a part of each other’s [lives] for years. It’s been seamless.” There appears to be no rush for Kelce to propose, nor is there pressure from Swift for him to get down on one knee. However, it appears that Swift’s family is already looking forward to it.
