Jason Kelce Reveals How He Found Out Travis Kelce’s Dating Taylor Swift

According to Jason Kelce, during the initial stages of their relationship, Travis was hesitant to disclose to him that he was seeing Taylor Swift.

When Swift made an appearance in Kelce’s VIP suite at Arrowhead Stadium to see him play for the Kansas City Chiefs against the Chicago Bears in September of last year, the couple made their relationship public.

However, during the build-up, Jason, his older brother, disclosed that he was only aware of what Travis had mentioned about inviting her to a Chiefs game on their New Heights podcast.

Speaking on the Pivot podcast, he revealed: ‘There was a lead-up to it, there was the whole thing on the pod about him trying to get a friendship bracelet to her, so I knew that there was something.

‘But I think he was very cautious about even telling me or anybody because the reality is she is under such a microscope

‘I think they wanted to make sure everything was done in a way that was respectful to people’s privacy and I think they are still trying to do that.

‘Even now, I want to be respectful of them and I don’t want anybody to feel like there is like a perceived – like I am violating some sort of private relationship.

‘It’s really not my place to speak on their relationship but he is my brother and I am very happy for him. You just have to be conscious of how you are saying things because it is under such a microscope.’

Swift saw 13 games as Kelce and Kansas City won a second consecutive Super Bowl, and he witnessed the Chiefs defeat the Bears on September 24, almost a year before they went public.

Swift is anticipated to return to Arrowhead this Thursday when the Chiefs play the Baltimore Ravens to open the season. The Chiefs are attempting an NFL “three-peat,” and Kelce and teammate Patrick Mahomes are leading a historic assault.

Jason, meanwhile, retires in the offseason after playing for the Philadelphia Eagles for 13 years, and he moves from being a player to an analyst.

This season, he signed up with ESPN to call games, but he won’t be able to call his brother’s Monday Night Football game until Week 5.

That day, the Chiefs will play the New Orleans Saints, and they will play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday night in Week 9.
