The National Football League and Taylor Swift’s love story has returned for a second season, primarily because the NFL is giving the pop sensation more publicity than the best player in the league.
In the 28-second preview video for the 2024 NFL season, which was just published by the league ahead of Thursday’s season opener, Taylor is the main player with the most screen time.
The NFL doesn’t show Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes until the very end, when he is seen hoisting the Vince Lombardi Trophy, yet Taylor is seen more than any other player in the league.
The 2023 season, which became all about Taylor when she began dating Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce, is looked back at in the marketing film. As they look forward, the NFL is returning to their golden goose.

Taylor made five appearances, including two celebrations with Kelce’s mother Donna, showing up to a game wearing a Chiefs jacket made just for him, kissing Travis on the field, and drinking a beer during the Super Bowl.
Taylor is a huge football enthusiast and is designing plays for the Chiefs, according to both Travis and Patrick. It’s obvious that Taylor has a lot of power at NFL headquarters.
