The ex-girlfriend of Travis Kelce says that because of his relationship with Taylor Swift, she is subjected to hate every single day and that the Swifties’ hurtful remarks have affected her life, even though she did nothing to deserve it!
During her guest appearance on Angel Reese’s brand-new “Unapologetically Angel” show on Thursday, Kayla Nicole talked about her profession, rumors, and, of course, her five-year ex.
The Chicago Sky star brought up Kelce’s breakup with Taylor Swift and inquired as to whether the pop singer’s fan base harassment still troubled her, a year after the tight end for the Chiefs and the pop singer started dating.
“I would be lying if I said that that level of hate and just, like, online chaos didn’t impact me — it does. Even to this day,” Nicole said.
“You can go to my most recent [social media] post and it will be people debating each other why I am worthless and I’ll never be a talented person and I have no career …”
Reese then asked Nicole why the Swifties seemed to dislike her so much … especially since she handled the breakup with such grace.
“I don’t know,” Nicole said. “I think that there’s something about that level of fame that attracts crazy people and it’s unfortunate because I’ve never done anything to warrant that kind of backlash.”
Nicole stated that she will continue to refer to her former partner and his team as the top tight end in the NFL while maintaining the highest level of professionalism in their conversation.
Nicole went on to say that the two had crossed paths in the past, but they knew better than to try to start a discussion.
Nicole remarked, “I’ll hit him with a head nod.” “That’s about it.”
“We’ve seen each other in public spaces but I think that we’re both aware of the nature of his new situation that there’s just no room to communicate or acknowledge each other publicly without it being spun into something crazy.”
As for Nicole’s love life … she doesn’t reveal whether she’s moved on, too, as she’s hellbent on keeping relationships private moving forward.
