Since joining the NFL, Patrick Mahomes has primarily focused on winning. Super Bowls, MVP awards during the regular season, and Offensive Player of the Year are just a few of the major titles he has earned in sports, and he is expected to lead the Kansas City Chiefs to significant victories for the remainder of the 2020s.
Mahomes also appears to have impeccable off-field judgment. Along with his annual salary of $45 million from the Chiefs, he has numerous sponsorship and endorsement deals and two children with his wife Brittany. In a recent interview, the two-time NFL champion disclosed that he is adept at the political aspects of the game.
Mahomes had a quick Q&A session with the social media crew of Subway, a fast-food company he has long supported, just before they were sighted in New York at the US Open with their significant others. The two-time NFL MVP was prepared to choose his favorite contemporary NFL player: tight end Travis Kelce, his All-Pro teammate.
The fact that Mahomes selected Kelce without hesitation is not surprising. Who else could Mahomes possible rely on to catch the absurd behind-the-back pass he executed during the Chiefs’ preseason, after all? It could only be Kelce, a tight end who was already at the top of the game before Mahomes took over at quarterback in 2018 and whose play reached Hall of Fame heights thereafter.
Mahomes and Kelce overtook Rob Gronkowski and Tom Brady in January to become the most productive quarterback-tight end combination in NFL postseason history. The two went on to lead the Chiefs to victory in Super Bowl LVIII against the San Francisco 49ers, their second straight and third since 2019.
Mahomes to Kelce is BACK.

As they begin their seventh season together, Kelce and Mahomes are eager to make NFL history by becoming the first team in league history to win three straight Super Bowls. Because of the unique bond between Mahomes and Kelce, the Chiefs are favored to win it all again in 2024. The oddsmakers learned their lesson in 2023.
