Soon after watching the US Open tennis action, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce spent a romantic date night in NYC on Sunday with friends Patrick and Brittany Mahomes. The 34-year-old “Cruel Summer” hitmaker and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end arrived hand in hand at the Mēdüzā Mediterranean restaurant in Manhattan for dinner with Kelce’s teammate, the quarterback for the Chiefs.
Wearing a Gucci minidress, a Gucci black pocketbook, and strappy black heels, the 14-time Grammy winner exuded glamour. For his part, Kelce chose a pair of dark slacks and a knit shirt with black and white stripes. He completed his ensemble with sneakers and a black cap. The Mahomes, who arrived and left separately from Swift and Kelce, looked equally stylish for their dinner date in the Big Apple. Under an enormous black blazer, Brittany, who is expecting her third child with the NFL player, looked stunning in a pinstriped dress.
She added a pair of white knee-high boots to finish her ensemble. Patrick chose to wear black jeans and a tan knit shirt. The foursome was spotted at the US Open Men’s Singles final earlier that day, which featured Taylor Fritz against world number one Jannik Sinner. Swift and Kelce put on a show throughout the three-set contest, in which Sinner, 23, defeated Fritz, 26, 6-3, 6-4, and 7-5. The pair sat in a VIP box at Arthur Ashe Stadium and watched the athletic events. They and the Mahomes split the box.
Swift and 34-year-old Kelce have had a busy few days. On Thursday, they attended a private afterparty in Kansas City to celebrate the Chiefs’ season-opening victory over the Ravens. On Friday, they took a quick flight to New York. The “Fortnight” singer records a lot of her work at Electric Lady Studios, and that evening the two had a nice dinner date in Brooklyn before heading to the star-studded wedding of Karen Elson and Lee Foster.
In the Chiefs’ 27-20 victory on Thursday, Kelce, who has been dating Swift since last year, opened his 12th NFL season with three receptions for 34 yards.
