Taylor Swift, with whom Kanye West has been at odds for years, delivered him a crushing blow!
“Vultures 2” just missed the number one slot on the chart, and that one belongs to TS’s “The Tortured Poets Department.” This means that Kanye’s record of 11 straight No. 1 albums was just broken.
Taylor must be savoring her most recent victory. Since he stole Beyoncé’s moment at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards and told the world she was robbed and should have won, Kanye has been a constant source of frustration for her.
Then there’s the whole “I made that bitch famous” incident, in which Kim and Kanye recorded her in private and altered the audio to make it seem as though she had approved Ye’s usage of the song. After the unedited transcript of the conversation leaked, it was shown beyond a reasonable doubt that she did not.
Taylor took a lot of crap for that, so this has got to be sweet revenge.
Maybe Taylor will rework her song, “Karma” … just sayin’.
