Taylor Swift expressed her delight at Travis Kelce’s candidacy for the NFL’s Walter Payton Man of the Year Award by like a Kansas City Chiefs Instagram post. The music superstar’s relationship with one of the country’s best football talents is thriving, and while Taylor doesn’t say much about him publicly, she has hinted at her thoughts on his impressive nomination.
Swift quickly liked the Chiefs’ Instagram post on how Kelce’s efforts’reach further than the football field’, which included a video clip of him speaking about his life. Fans, as expected, instantly noted Swift’s participation on the article and took to the comments section to give their own thoughts: One person remarked, ‘Omg Taylor liked this!!’ Another added, ‘Sobbing Taylor liked this aw.’
Kelce has been nominated for the award before, in 2020, but lost to current Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson, who is also married to a popstar in Ciara. This year, Kelce will try to outperform his 31 NFL competitors and win the honor for the first time. The NFL revealed the 32 nominees on Thursday, with the winner being honored with the trophy at the NFL Honors night during Super Bowl week in New Orleans.

Kelce, of course, hopes to be in town anyhow as he and the Chiefs attempt a third consecutive championship. In a statement, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said: ‘The Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award commemorates Walter’s enduring legacy of greatness on the field and compassion off it.
“This award is the league’s most prestigious honor, and we are proud to recognize these 32 outstanding men for the positive impact they have on their communities every day.”
The winner will receive a donation of up to $265,000 to any charity of his choosing. The others will receive up to $55,000 for their respective causes. Cameron Heyward of the Pittsburgh Steelers received the 2023 honor.
Kelce and Swift have been dating for more than a year, and the pop diva has yet to miss a game at Arrowhead this season. On Black Friday, she attended the close victory over the Las Vegas Raiders with her parents.
