Taylor Swift is looking forward to some much-needed relaxation after wrapping off her grueling Eras Tour next weekend. The pop artist has been on the road for nearly two years, performing over 150 performances since the tour began in March 2023 — but it all comes to an end on December 8 in Vancouver, British Columbia.
“Taylor’s exhausted,” a source told Us Weekly on Tuesday. “She’s excited for some relaxation and downtime.” The “Fortnight” singer apparently intends to spend the most of her time in Kansas City with boyfriend Travis Kelce, whom she began seeing last summer amidst her rigorous tour schedule.
“Taylor plans to stay in and hibernate [with Travis] for a while,” the insider told the site. “They want to do ‘normal things’ as a couple,” a second source explained. “Taylor and Travis are eager to spend quality time together since that’s when the subtle details of someone’s personality and habits become apparent. They will learn a lot about each other.”
Although the “All Too Well” singer is looking forward to some downtime, she is apparently already planning her next album and prospective tour. However, the insider stated that “things can change” depending on how things play out with Kelce, 35. “A lot of it depends on what happens with Travis over the next year,” the second insider explained. “She’s told her team to give her one year to see how things go in her personal life.”
Swift and Kelce apparently “love to be engaged,” but “aren’t rushing it.” “Taylor believes Travis is The One, but jumping in is not her style,” the insider explained. “That’s not the way she does things. Marriage is a significant deal, and she wants it to last forever. Starting a family is apparently years in the future for the career-focused pair.
The couple apparently intends to stay in Missouri until Kelce’s season is complete before splitting time between Swift’s home in New York City. According to one insider, Swift plans to celebrate her 35th birthday and the end of her tour in New York City, where she also hosted last year’s celebration.
“She loves a quaint party with her closest friends,” the first insider claimed, adding that Taylor is looking forward to turning 35. She understands she’s accomplished a lot.” She also intends to host Christmas with her and Kelce’s families, which have become “very intertwined” over the previous year and a half.
Earlier this week, Page Six revealed that the Grammy winner and her family, which included mother Andrea Swift and father Scott Swift, entertained the Kelces on Thanksgiving. The gang gathered at the “Cruel Summer” singer’s house in Nashville, Tennessee.
A source informed us that it was “really important” for the couple to celebrate together after losing out on the opportunity last year owing to Taylor’s tour schedule. The Super Bowl champion’s parents, Donna and Ed Kelce, his brother, Jason Kelce, his sister-in-law, Kylie Kelce, and his three nieces, Wyatt, Elliotte, and Bennett, all flew to Tennessee for the memorable occasion.
“They knew it would take some coordination, but they’re so grateful they were able to pull it off,” we were told.
