After making history at the show, Taylor Swift attracted attention as she made her way to the MTV Video Music Awards afterparty.
The singer, 34, created history by becoming the first artist to win Video of the Year five times, after winning her 30th VMA. Taylor dressed up for the after-party at Electric Lady Studios with a woods theme invited Sabrina Carpenter to join her in celebrating their accomplishments.
Taylor’s ensemble—a short gray and green minidress with an identical bomber jacket—seemed to pay homage to her famous song Out of the Woods. The pop sensation attracted attention by wearing a pair of black leather boots and putting up an extremely slender show while wearing the outfit.
Taylor looked amazing as she wore her go-to red lipstick, thick eyeliner, and glittery eyeshadow for a theatrical beauty look. She wore a silver necklace as an accessory.
Hitmaker Sabrina from Espresso also showed up at the after party, wearing a transparent white lace minidress. A white and pink clutch purse and a pair of white high heels finished her ensemble.
Suki Waterhouse was another celebrity present for the celebration. She chose for a daring black bralette and matching skirt, complementing her look with a feather scarf.
After winning Video of the Year, Taylor shared a touching homage to her boyfriend Travis Kelce at the VMAs, leaving fans in tears. “I would always just hear someone cheering from across the studio where we were shooting [Fortnight],” Taylor remarked, thanking Travis for all of his support.
“And that one person was my boyfriend Travis. Everything this man touches turns into happiness and fun and magic. I want to thank him for adding that to our shoot because I’ll always remember that.”
Fans went wild for the tribute and took to X to share their thoughts. “I love them so much,” one person gushed. Another fan added: “It shouldn’t have made my jaw drop the way it did. This is so big y’all #VMAs I love them so much.”

With her seven VMA victories for Fortnight, Taylor now has thirty career wins. She has now surpassed Beyoncé, who was the previous owner of the record for the most VMAs.
The Shake It Off singer became the first artist to win Video of the Year five times, making her victory even more historic. Taylor broke her own record, which she had held for the previous four Video of the Year awards.
Travis’ NFL club, the Kansas City Chiefs, will be practicing all week in preparation for their Sunday game against the Cincinnati Bengals, thus he was unable to attend the award event with his girlfriend last night. He did, however, specifically mention Taylor in his New Heights podcast.
“Hopefully Taylor can walk away with a few, she’s nominated for about ten of those things tonight,” he said. “Hopefully she can walk away with some moon men. Those are always one of the cooler trophies. The space guys.”
