Based on an anonymous source, Taylor Swift’s friends and family are reportedly “relieved” that she is dating Travis Kelce since he “makes her security personnel job easier.”
In an interview with The Mirror Online, a source claimed that Travis Kelce’s family felt that the NFL player was like a “built in bodyguard” and that he would defend his pop sensation fiancée at all costs.
According to reports, Taylor Swift’s family has continuously expressed how happy they are with her relationship with Kansas City Chiefs player Kelce, with the two having seen their connection grow over the past 12 months.
An insider revealed to the Daily Mail: “Taylor’s family and everyone who knows her is so relieved by her relationship with Travis not only because she is madly in love but also because he makes her security personnel job much easier.” The same source added: “No one will try to come close to her when she is holding hands with her powerhouse boyfriend.”
Travis has freely talked about his protective tendencies toward Taylor on his podcast, “New Heights,” alongside brother Jason Kelce. He particularly touched on these feelings during their early New York City dates, which were widely reported on the previous year.
Travis said: “I feel like whenever I’m on a date, I’m always having the sense that I’m a man in the situation. I’m protective, yeah, for sure. You always have to have that feeling or self-awareness, I guess.”
And Page Six had revealed that, even after only a few months of dating, Kelce had already sought Taylor’s father for permission to pop the question. According to the same source, the two are anticipated to tie the knot shortly.
When she was in the stadium with Travis’s mother during a Kansas City Chiefs game the previous season, the couple revealed their connection. Swift continued to promote Kelce across the nation by attending 13 NFL games in the 2023 season. She even made the 13-hour flight from Tokyo to interrupt her tour in order to witness him win the Super Bowl.
Kelce has paid it forward by witnessing Swift perform live throughout South America, Australia, and several European nations as part of her Eras tour. However, the two have been away for a long time as of late. Kelce has returned to the Chiefs’ facilities in anticipation of the start of training camp, while Swift is continuing her tour in Europe.
