Travis Kelce appears to be on set filming ‘Happy Gilmore 2’ as he enjoys a break from NFL duties with the Kansas City Chiefs.
The back-to-back Super Bowl champions are on a bye week following Monday night’s victory over the New Orleans Saints.
Kelce jetted out of Kansas City with girlfriend Taylor Swift the following evening. The tight end has been building a new career on the small and big screen. Kelce hosts ‘Are You Smarter Than A Celebrity’ and recently made his acting debut in ‘Grotesquerie’.
On Friday, Hollywood producer Bryan Zuriff shared a picture of the 35-year-old on Instagram. The image appears to show the tight end dressed in a costume on a film set.
Swift was nowhere to be seen in the screenshot, which showed Kelce on FaceTime to Zuriff. The Chiefs star clenched his fist as he beamed down the camera.
Earlier this year, Adam Sandler confirmed that Kelce has a cameo in Happy Gilmore 2. The NFL star has reportedly been shooting the sequel to the iconic golf movie over recent months. According to Page Six, the cast of Happy Gilmore 2 have been filming at different sites in New Jersey.
Ahead of Kansas City’s victory over the Saints, Kelce stayed tight-lipped about his plans for this week off. ‘You got any bye week plans?’ older brother Jason Kelce asked him on the latest episode of their New Heights podcast.
‘Of course I do,’ Travis responded. ‘But if any of it comes out (in the press), I’m sure we’ll talk about it on the show.’ Earlier on Friday, Kelce’s ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole was slammed by Swift fans after she lifted the lid on her relationship with the Chiefs star.
icole, who dated Kelce on and off for five years before his romance with Swift, was grilled on the latest episode of WNBA star Angel Reese’s ‘Unapologetically Angel’ podcast.
The 32-year-old influencer explained why Travis’ new relationship with Taylor means they can no longer speak if they see each other in public, and how vile abuse from ‘Swifties’ on social media has impacted her.
In the wake of her tell-all interview, Swift’s die-hard supporters took aim at Nicole once again. One wrote on X: ‘What does she mean there’s not room for us to talk WHY WOULD IT BE HES IN A RELATIONSHIP IS SHE DUMB????’ Another put: ‘This girl needs to move on, he’s in a happier place now.’
‘Why is she talking about him? Let’s move on,’ said a third.
