The Kansas City Chiefs were expected to easily take down the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 13, however, the Black Friday showdown turned out to be another nail-biter. During the final 14 seconds of the game, with the Chiefs up 19-17, the Raiders were already in field goal position on third down when rookie center Jackson Powers-Johnson accidentally snapped the ball too early.
After the ball bounced off quarterback Aidan O’Connell’s chest, the Chiefs recovered the ball on the ground. During the game, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce recorded seven catches for 68 yards, including a lateral pass to Samaje Perine for a first down.
While Kelce’s girlfriend Taylor Swift, her dad, Scott, Swift, and his mom, Donna Kelce, all attended the matchup, the 35-year-old All-Pro took a moment on Friday night to send a message to Bills quarterback Josh Allen and his now fiancée, Hailee Steinfeld.
Allen, who’s dated Steinfeld since last May, announced he proposed to the Oscar-nominated actress in a shared Instagram post. Kelce commented, “Congratulations!!! .”
Allen and Steinfeld captioned the post, ” 11•22•24 ,” which means the Bills star popped the question just five days after Buffalo ruined the Chiefs’ perfect season. During Kansas City’s 30-21 loss to the Bills at Highmark Stadium, Kelce was held to just two catches for eight yards.

Off the field, Kelce and Allen have nothing but respect for one another. Steinfeld is friendly with Swift. The Oscar-nominated actress appeared in the singer’s star-studded “Bad Blood” music video in 2014.
Even though the Chiefs clinched the playoffs and sit atop the AFC with an 11-1 record, Kelce didn’t appear too happy after the game.
He didn’t speak to reporters after the game, however, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes opened up about the team’s less-than celebratory mood.

“We’re not satisfied with where we’re at even though we’re winning football games,” Mahomes said. “We have to get better. I think everyone in our locker room knows we have to get better. We want to go out there and do that and prove that. “Our goal over these last few games is to prove [we are] the team that we believe we really are going into the playoffs and play like that throughout the playoffs.”
