JuJu Smith-Schuster put a ring on it. Following his release from the Patriots last month, the Chiefs receiver re-signed with the team, and he recently got engaged to Laura Kruk, his girlfriend. According to images Smith-Schuster posted on Instagram on Wednesday, he proposed on a yacht near Nantucket Island with a gorgeous oval-shaped diamond ring.

In front of a heart-shaped arrangement of pink and white flowers, the pair raised a glass with champagne. Smith-Schuster’s colleagues, including tight end Travis Kelce and quarterback Patrick Mahomes of the Chiefs, posted congrats. The couple was pictured celebrating their engagement on the beach, according to images published by female online fitness expert Kruk.
An insider has now revealed that Smith-Schuster want Travis Kelce to be his Bestman on his wedding day. He made his request to Travis During their training session after he proposed. There ‘s no official date for the wedding yet, but ecpects lots of his Chiefs’ teammates to be there and hopefully Travis gets to be his Bestman.
“Overwhelmed with so much love!” she wrote. “Thank you for all the sweet messages 💕 truly the best weekend and I couldn’t be happier 💍.” It’s unknown how Smith-Schuster and Kruk met or when they started dating. After learning about Smith-Schuster’s reunion with the Chiefs last week, Kruk gushed about it on Instagram, writing, “happy, excited, proud.”
She attached pictures of the couple playing on the field at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium. Smith-Schuster led Kansas City receivers in 2022 and won a Super Bowl in his lone season with the Chiefs. He finished with 933 yards on 78 receptions and three touchdowns. In terms of yards and catches, he trailed behind All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce.
In February 2023, the Chiefs won the Super Bowl in Arizona after defeating the Eagles 38–35. Last season, Smith-Schuster inked a three-year contract with the Patriots, but his output was constrained by injuries. In 11 games, he caught 29 receptions for 260 yards. After Pittsburgh chose Smith-Schuster in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft, he played for the Steelers for five seasons and was selected to the Pro Bowl in his rookie campaign.
After defeating the Ravens in their first game, the Chiefs take on the Bengals at home on Sunday.
