Jason Kelce‘s ESPN Monday Night Football career begins with a highly-anticipated matchup between the New York Jets and San Francisco 49ers. Kelce, who retired from football after the conclusion of the 2023 NFL season, is now an analyst for ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown.
The former Philadelphia Eagles All-Pro center will provide pregame, halftime and postgame analysis for the Worldwide Leader.
Kelce joins host Scott Van Pelt and fellow NFL players-turned-analysts Ryan Clark and Marcus Spears behind the Countdown desk. Jason’s younger brother, superstar tight end Travis Kelce, is loving what he’s seeing so far.
The Kansas City Chiefs pass catcher took to social media with a simple three-word review of his brother’s debut performance before kickoff on Monday night.
“What a natural!!” Travis wrote on X.

Travis also reacted to Jason’s hilarious mistake to kickoff his Monday Night Countdown career. “Surprised he bought a new one and didn’t just go shirtless,” Travis added.
