Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift appear to have changed Thanksgiving Day plans. The Kansas City Chiefs are set to take on the Las Vegas Raiders in a Black Friday game tomorrow.
The 10-1 Chiefs are set to host the 2-9 Raiders at Arrowhead Stadium, in a game streaming on Amazon Prime. Travis’s brother, Jason Kelce, previously hinted that the entire family would be heading to Kansas City, to celebrate the holiday ahead of the Week 13 NFL game.
“We’re all going to KC for Thanksgiving,” he said, adding, “You guys play Friday night for Amazon. After the game we can play Mafia.”
The Chiefs and the Raiders are scheduled to kick off at 3 p.m. E.T. on Friday. However, according to a new report from The Daily Mail, it sounds like Taylor Swift and the Kelce family might have changed their Thanksgiving Day plans. Swift’s private jet was seen leaving Kansas City for Nashville, where she has a home.
Perhaps the iconic pop star decided to make a last-minute change to the holiday plans, at least for Wednesday or Thursday.
Interestingly, the Daily Mail is also reporting that Jason Kelce’s plane was spotted in Nashville, shortly after the arrival of Taylor Swift’s plane, the Dassault Falcon 7X jet.
It sounds like Swift might have invited Kelce’s family to join her for Thanksgiving celebrations in Nashville, prior to everyone heading to Kansas City for the Chiefs game on Friday. Travis and Jason’s mom, meanwhile, had previously stated on the “Today” show, that Taylor Swift might not be able to join them for the holidays.
She’s still in the middle of her Eras Tour, which wraps up in Canada next month. However, it seems like everyone was able to come together.
“Travis is playing the day after Thanksgiving. You know, football is always about the holidays. It’s football’s family,” she said during her appearance on the morning show.
Regardless of where they are, though, it’s probably just nice to be able to celebrate the holiday together. The Chiefs and the Raiders, meanwhile, are set to kick off at 3 p.m. E.T. on Friday. The game will air on Amazon Prime.
