Fans think that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce will marry shortly. Several Swifties encouraged the Kansas City Chiefs player to propose to the Grammy winner after he celebrated Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen’s engagement to Hailee Steinfeld. “Congratulations!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻👏🏻👏🏻,” Kelce wrote on the couple’s announcement Friday.
One social media user responded to the tight end, “Trav, your move,” and another enthusiastically urged the Super Bowl champion, “you next 😬.” Others sent similar comments to Kelce, who has been dating the singer since summer 2023. Swift, meanwhile, expressed her admiration for Allen and Steinfeld’s significant achievement by “liking” their joint post.
The pair confirmed their engagement with a snapshot of the waterfront proposal, which featured a flower arch and a variety of candles. Rumors of an engagement between Swift and Kelce had circulated for some time.

As previously reported, sources close to the pop artist revealed that the NFL athlete has become Swift’s “protector” behind the scenes in their relationship, bringing them closer over the last year as the singer encountered various hardships while performing her Eras Tour internationally.
“Only his physical presence.” She feels safer with him than with anybody else she’s ever known; she knows he’d go to any length for her, and she enjoys the feeling of being physically protected by him. “It’s a new relationship for her,” a source explained.
On the October 31 episode of his “New Heights” podcast, Kelce addressed when he believes it is appropriate for couples to take the next step in their relationship.
“I feel like [it’s] when you know someone’s life,” he stated at the time. “When you observe someone’s day-to-day life and understand it, you develop a habit of being with that person or talking to them about their daily routines on a regular basis. You naturally feel a true connection.”
