It has now been over two years since Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce broke up with former girlfriend Kayla Nicole. In fact, the All-Pro tight end has now been in a relationship with Grammy Award-winning artist Taylor Swift for more than a year, with rumors already circulating about the couple potentially taking their romance to the next level.
Nicole, however, still seems to be feeling the impact of her breakup with Kelce following their near-two-year relationship. In October, during an appearance on WNBA All-Star Angel Reese’s “Unapologetically Angel” podcast, Nicole revealed how she believed that she and Kelce were headed down the aisle before they eventually called it quits.
Nicole, a social media influencer with more than 800,000 Instagram followers, has now spoken out again about her past relationship with the three-time Super Bowl winner.
This time around, Nicole made a tearful admission about how difficult her breakup was with Kelce two years ago.
Nicole made the revelation during a segment of an upcoming season of the show “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test,” which is a program that requires celebrity participants to go through grueling challenges led by a team of ex-Special Forces operatives.
A preview of the program is currently making its rounds on social media, and a lot of fans have taken notice of Nicole’s comment about Kelce. “Going through a public breakup, it’s been overwhelming,” Nicole said crying. When she was asked by one of her co-stars who her ex was, Nicole whispered that it was “Travis Kelce.”

It was an honest admission from Nicole, 33, who is clearly still feeling emotional about how she had to go through one of the most difficult periods in her life while under public scrutiny. However, folks on social media did not exactly empathize with her situation. They have, instead, turned on the Pepperdine University alum for her most recent comments about Kelce.
“Still doing this?? ” read a comment on Instagram. “She can’t let go and he’s happier than he’s ever been. Giving me fatal attraction vibes,” said another.
“We don’t care and he DEFINITELY does not care. Move on he is happy,” demanded a user. “So needy,” reacted another.
“If taking L’s paid this girl would be as rich as Taylor Swift. #moveongirl” remarked a reader.
“Can she do anything without mentioning him? I know he is so tired of it,” wrote an Instagram user. “Give it up lady! Sour grapes,” declared another.
“She only raised her head again when Travis started dating Taylor. She knew it was over. How did Travis tolerate this high maintenance women for so long. Sorry for you girl, Travis gave up on lust and chose real love now. Deal with it !!” said a reader.
Needless to say, social media isn’t too pleased with how Nicole is still talking about Kelce and their breakup to this day.
As for Kelce and Swift, the couple appear to be going as strong as ever. Swift’s five-continent “Eras Tour” is set to end in December after nearly two years. According to reports, the 34-year-old is feeling “super emotional” at this point. Swift is reportedly “leaning” on Kelce and her family more than ever, with the Chiefs superstar expected to play the role of the supportive boyfriend in the coming months.
