Before calling it quits in May 2022, former television reporter Kayla Nicole and Travis Kelce, a star of the Kansas City Chiefs, had an intermittent romance that lasted five years. Although Kelce has now moved on with pop sensation Taylor Swift, Nicole is also looking for a “fun, down-to-earth person” to date.
She stated that she wanted to move past her relationship with Kelce and that she is now open to considering other attributes in a possible spouse. Nicole opened up about her dating preferences and being open to a wonderful, caring man in an exclusive interview with Life & Style Weekly.
As far as Kayla is concerned, the ideal partner would be honest, direct, family-oriented, and endowed with qualities like kindness and honesty. When the host interjected and asked, “Not negotiable?” The reporter-turned-business owner answered, “I really just want to spend my time with someone who is going to be nice, loving, down to earth, and fun.”
Next, she was questioned about if this change in priorities was impacted by her past relationships. Nicole explained that choosing a mate these days might be challenging and that, for her, experience-based personal development is the primary factor in selecting a mate.
Nicole has made a name for herself in pop culture as a prominent entertainment journalist for companies like Global Grind, the owner of the fitness business Tribe Therepē, and a model for Revolve and Fenty. Nevertheless, Nicole has established herself as a prominent figure in sports broadcasting, having previously covered NFL and NBA games from the sidelines, in addition to being well-known as Kelce’s ex-girlfriend.
It makes natural, then, that she wants to delay getting married and starting a family. The former NFL and NBA journalist intends to freeze her eggs in order to make that decision at a later age, as is common with the health-conscious person. As the talk went on, Nicole talked about the expectations that are put on women in terms of marriage and motherhood, which are a common theme in women’s life all across the world.
Nicole is adamant that she won’t allow these demands to affect her choices. “I believe that’s the next move I should take because there’s no pressure involved. I’m not worrying too much about getting hitched. I’m not worried about becoming a parent. It will occur when it is expected to.
Women have the opportunity to preserve their fertility through egg freezing, sometimes referred to as oocyte cryopreservation. During this process, eggs are extracted from the ovaries and stored for later use.
This would undoubtedly empower the former student of Pepperdine University to decide when she wants to raise a family while still concentrating on her career aspirations. Pretty awesome!
