Travis Kelce’s Horse ‘Swift Delivery’ Finishes Second in Toronto Cup

Three-time Super Bowl-winning Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce invested in a racehorse called Swift Delivery, and it finished second in its most recent run.

Swift Delivery, the even-money favorite going into the $125,000 Toronto Cup Stakes at Woodbine on Saturday, was defeated. He stopped his winning run of two races by paying $2.50 and $2.10.

In the early stages of the one-mile race on the E.P. Taylor turf track, Swift Delivery finished last out of six competitors. The three-year-old horse tried his luck outside under Patrick Husbands, but Piper’s Factor, the eventual winner, was too strong for him. It paid $16.60 to win on the 7-1 shot.

Swift Delivery is not named after pop sensation Taylor Swift, who Kelce has been dating, according to Barry Irwin, founder and CEO of Team Valor International. In May, Kelce went to the Kentucky Derby.
