On Wednesday’s edition of “New Heights,” Adam Sandler shared his thoughts on the connection between Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift.
During the podcast’s season debut, which is hosted by Travis and Jason Kelce, the “Uncut Gems” actor revealed that his family has been supportive of the Kansas City Chiefs player’s relationship with the “Karma” singer since the beginning. On Wednesday’s episode, Sandler gushed about “you being together.”
On Wednesday’s program, Sandler raved about “you being together.” “When I saw that picture of you two when you first started dating, my family said, ‘Yes! How great do they look together! What a gentleman he is! And she’s enjoying herself immensely with him! My entire f-kin’ family is giving you high fives whenever Taylor is laughing with you.
The 34-year-old NFL player replies, “You’ve got me sweating, man,” clearly flushing.
Sandler went on to compliment Swift for her significance to his daughters, Sadie, 18, and Sunny, 15.
Adam said it again: “What a girl.” She plays a huge role in our household. It was one of the first times you listened to every song on the album when we were listening to Taylor Swift when the kids were little.
When I was a kid, you did that with The Beatles and possibly even Elton John. Every song. They knew the language inside and out. Kelce, who referred to his girlfriend as the “best performer out there,” endorsed the concept.
The actor from “Happy Gilmore” acknowledges that he has turned into a Swiftie. He went on, “I love to listen to her in the car.” “I adore what she says. Each and every message. Every tune. The work of art. What she meant to girls in her early years, women, and men who were following the correct path in life.
The 57-year-old actor acknowledged in February that Swift is one of the few celebs who has made him feel awestruck.
“Taylor Swift, because what she means to my kids, I get a little f–king jumpy,” Adam told Conan O’Brien on a Feb. 26 episode of his “Needs A Friend podcast”. “I don’t want to blow it for my kids — I talk a little too loud. I don’t act as cool as I can.”
Sandler and the Chiefs tight end are set to star in the upcoming film, “Happy Gilmore 2.”
