When Patrick and Brittany Mahomes first met in high school, nobody could have predicted that they would end up together.
Although they didn’t always get along, Brittany and Patrick Mahomes are a formidable duo in the NFL. Patrick Mahomes was making every effort to date Brittany Mahomes before he became well-known.
Brittany discussed their formative years in the most recent “Whoop” episode, which aired on Wednesday. Brittany talked about the cheesy things Mahomes would do when host Will Ahmed asked her to describe how she and him started dating.
“We were friends for a really long time, obviously, and he was trying to date me. I was staying in my Lane, being my own thing, doing my own thing, and he one day at lunch, because we sat at the same lunch table every day, was trying to be corny, I guess, you could say. And wrote me a Valentine’s letter and brought me a rose and it was so cute.”
Brittany said they will start dating eventually, even if it seemed cheesy at the time.
Britanny continued, “I thought it was the cutest thing in the world, and he was just being sarcastic.” And so I appreciated how he tried to do something very kind, and I believe from there we just continued chatting and eventually dating.”
In addition, Brittany was asked if that was “the” moment she realized the relationship would endure, to which she quickly replied, “No.”
Brittany explained, “Because we were 16 and not thinking about the future. He was a sophomore, I was a junior, and we were still in high school. We didn’t expect it to develop into this, but I’m pleased it did.” We are having a great time together.”
She is not incorrect. Although it obviously worked out for both of them, kids, as teens, do not believe that a romance in high school will lead to long-term marriages and children in the future.
Brittany Mahomes Has Acquired The Ability to Ignore Other People’s Opinions From snapping at people who thought poorly of her, Brittany Mahomes has gone a long way. In a recent WHOOP podcast episode, Mahomes said that she learned to quit caring what other people thought from her husband, quarterback Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs.
“I think the main thing that he always told me is stop caring about what people think, especially the people that don’t even know you,” Mahomes said on the show, admitting that “social media used to get to me a lot.”
“Now, it’s just like, honestly, I don’t give a f— what people have to say about me anymore.”
