The distraught family of nine-year-old Alice da Silva Aguiar has shared a photo of her excitedly awaiting admittance to the dancing class with a Taylor Swift theme where she was fatally stabbed.

Alice is seen grinning in the doorway of the Hart Space studio on Hart Street, Southport, next to a life-size cardboard cutout of the singer

The child was just beginning her summer break from school when she was seen in the photo, decked out in leggings, sneakers, and a T-shirt bearing the words “Vacay Vibes.” Her parents paid tribute to her during her funeral service on Sunday, August 11, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Southport, saying that she was devoted to dancing.

Alice was described as ‘our ideal dream child, everything was lovely from the time you came’ by her parents, Sergio and Alexandra.

They added: “A good girl, with strong values and kind nature. A lover of animals and an environmentalist in the making. You moved our world with your confidence and empathy. Playful energetic, friendly, and always so respectful.”

“A peacemaker of the playground. No shouting is a house rule you applied. A big task for a small girl, especially in a Portuguese household. Being around you was a privilege, we cherished every milestone. You completed us.

“In nine short years we never needed time off from you. We never gave up our time for anything that didn’t involve you too. And if we did, we’d always do it separately so you could have one of us always next to you.”

Alice is pictured waiting outside the dance lesson on July 29, the day she was fatally killed. The attack during an event with a Taylor Swift theme claimed the lives of Alice, Bebe King, age six, and Elsie Dot Stancombe, age seven.

After being hurt in the attack, eight more kids were also released from the hospital to heal at home.Heartbreak in Southport: Family Mourns 9-Year-Old Alice, Fatally Stabbed at Taylor Swift-Themed Dance Class

Alice’s parents went on, “We loved spending almost nine years cuddling with you every night. You were born and raised into love.” We were never separated, unless we had sleepovers or late evenings with your buddies. You adored watching Disney Plus with popcorn, drawing the curtains, and going to bed with your parents. Your cozy spot was our room. You were our solace and tranquility.

“We noticed certain changes as you grew from a princess to a pre-teen, seeing the emergence of your independence. From your skincare routine to your makeup experiments, from your commitment to studying, dancing, and religion, everything matters. We knew you could do everything on your long to-do list if you just had the time.

“We discussed things like picking a high school, growing up, owning a large home with a garden, and having kids. kids that you will never receive assistance raising. It aches. We won’t get to witness you mature.

“We frequently wonder why you were snatched from us so quickly. Why is this place? Why not us? You, why? We’re curious whether you’ve ever considered us. asked for us. We wanted to know if you were hurting. Hopefully not, sweetheart.

“We then wonder if this could have been prevented. Was there a way we could have stopped it? We will always be in anguish from this. We pledge to obtain all the solutions. We need to know, Mummy has seen much too much. We are surprised, in excruciating pain, and we miss you.Heartbreak in Southport: Family Mourns 9-Year-Old Alice, Fatally Stabbed at Taylor Swift-Themed Dance Class

“Occasionally, the pin comes loose. When our mother says, “Good night, Sergio, good night Alice,” it resurfaces for us all. You don’t hear back from us.

“Advancing will not be easy. No day is going to be flawless, but some days will be better than others. Weak moments cause us to say inappropriate things. However, we made a pinky pledge to always support one another when things became tough.

“We have a close relationship and can always rely on one another. We won’t be by ourselves. Our amazing neighborhood, friends, neighbors, coworkers, the amazing service members who protect the town, your church, school, and all of your friends and their parents surround us, as does their unwavering support.

“We have the full support of the country and the privilege of multiplying that by two. For that, we’re thankful. For now, our beloved Angel, keep dancing, mummy and daddy will always, always love you.”
