Brittany Mahomes—who is pregnant with the couples’ third baby—sent Patrick Mahomes some hilarious support after disclosing a clothing malfunction during the Kansas City Chiefs’ training camp in St. Joseph, MO.

Following her husband, quarterback Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs, being featured in a team video complaining about a wardrobe malfunction during training camp in St. Joseph, Missouri, the Sports Illustrated model—who is currently expecting her third child—reacted to the incident on social media.
Resharing the Chiefs’ reel, Brittany, 28, added in an Aug. 7 Instagram Story beside a laughing emoji, “Sorry I’m not there to dress you.”
Patrick, who also has children with Brittany, Sterling, age 3, and Bronze, age 22 months, fortunately made an outfit error that was barely obvious because it included only his pad pants—the padded compression shorts that athletes wear beneath their uniforms.
“Oh dude,” Patrick says to teammate Creed Humphrey in the video. “I didn’t put my pants on. You think anyone notices?”
“Maybe they’ll think my quads are so big that they look like pants,” Patrick continues, getting no response from Creed or the other Chiefs players and coaches.
So, ultimately, the 28-year-old decides to go change, and walks back to the locker room after offering Creed a “See you later.” And while Patrick is having trouble dressing himself during the Chiefs training camp—which is running until Aug. 15—Brittany has also been open about her own tribulations while her husband is focusing on football.
She went so far as to ask her followers for guidance on a “bad habit” that her son Bronze had acquired during a family vacation that preceded Patrick’s training camp. The vacation included seeing Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour with Travis Kelce.
“We started a bad habit with Bronze while on vacation, we started letting him watch TV while eating literally just to keep him chill and not throw fits in public,” she wrote in an Instagram Story July 28. “We have been trying to break this now that we are home.”
Following a barrage of insightful and encouraging comments from her followers, the co-owner of Kansas City Current posted a statement of appreciation.
“A ton of you were like it’s just a phase, let it happen for your own peace, for your own sanity, do what’s best for you,” she explained. “ I really appreciate that and it made me feel a lot better and less guilty.”
