According to a famous lip reader, Taylor Swift responded to Travis Kelce’s extravagant actions during a Las Vegas event over the weekend. Deaf YouTuber Jackie Gonzalez, who frequently posts her lipreadings of celebrity chats on TikTok, commented on Taylor’s reaction to her boyfriend’s actions at Patrick Mahomes’ teammate’s The 15 and Mahomies Foundation Golf Classic on April 27.
In one video, Taylor, who is seen in the crowd, turns her head and displays a guilty smile as Travis, 34, grabs the microphone while performing and cries out, “Viva Las Vegas!”
Taylor seemed to exclaim, “That again,” when the tight end got up on stage and shouted or sang “Viva Las Vegas” into a microphone. “I can’t do it,” said Jackie Gonzalez, a skilled lip reader.
While Jackie posted a caution stating that “Lip reading is not a reliable form of communication” and that “all statements are alleged,” her account of Taylor’s said words appeared to align flawlessly with the Anti-Hero singer’s lip motions.
Jackie was unable to contain her laughter at the end of the video as she covered her mouth and ducked out of the screen due to Travis’s slurred delivery and the pop star’s humorously frustrated response. The celebrity lip reader has gone viral multiple times for her previous interpretations of famous talks, including behind-the-scenes moments between Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet, Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt, and Taylor with her Fortnight music video co-star Post Malone.
Travis may have made his girlfriend cringe at his teammate Patrick Mahomes’ Vegas gala, but the day did involve a romantic development for the two. Footage from the audience showed the football star referring to Taylor as his’significant other’ while conducting an auction onstage.
